I've Broken 500!

Wow. My little counter down there says over five hundred people have graced this blog with their presence, although realistically it's several people again and again. But I don't have to think that way. I can pretend this place is popular.

Alas, I have an observation at the ungodly hour of 8am tomorrow. I'll take tons of notes to stay awake. Maybe it'll help. I'll tell you how it goes, I guess, although I might just write that I was tired. Can't guarantee much there.

I went to the yoga demonstration like I said, and actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I knew I'd like it, since it's a little like Nia, but without a mat, without having worn the proper clothes for that sort of activity, and without having so much as a clue as to what was going on, I really liked it. So one of the two people I went with and I decided to add it to our Wednesday lives. Not bad, since by the time the class starts, the parking lot has been largely vacated. I paid my twenty bucks, and have the class for a month. I'm giving it two months at least before I decide I dislike it. I figure that gives me enough time to get lost, try to get help, and eventually discover that I do better with video tapes, if that's going to happen. But I doubt it will. No one is putting any pressure on me to do it perfectly at an expert level, and my yoga buddy has been in classes with her mother before, so she can direct me if I get totally lost.

Lockers for the year are something like twenty dollars, but for a semester, they're only eight dollars. This doesn't seem like very good marketing to me, but I'll overlook that and go the cheaper route, if I decide not to just keep all my stuff in the car. They've also got some great outdoor tracks, with maps (this is a good thing) you can take with you. So there are a lot of options for me.

If I'm going to stand a chance of getting out the door tomorrow that early, I need to post this and get to bed. So I'll post again later.

End.
