Argh

My smoke detector is beeping at me! I have to find my stool, or a sturdy chair, and pray that I have the right sized battery to replace the beeping one. Grrr. I can't sleep with that, so I've actually got to do something about it. Oh well. I did say the next post would be tomorrow, and this is tomorrow, time wise. So I didn't lie.

    If you cant figure it out, get the apartment to replace the battery. It may be part of their maintenance program. And use the step stool, not a chair. sr

    i talked to the mail room people and they say that the letter you got was mass distributed. they said that if it was really important stuff, it would not have public postage (the kind you see in junk mail), it would have first class postage. so, i have not sent it. if you would like, i can open it for you and tell you what it says. it might save time and money. thanks...Martin
