Life of a Creative Writing Grad Student [and knitter]

The occasional opining of a sleep-deprived grad student, with cheese.

Well.

I spent the morning alternatively grading drafts and trying to blog. I finally got last night's entry to go through (about half an hour ago), and am about on par with my grading quota for the week. I think. All that's left for school is to observe a class at eight am tomorrow (no!) and finish my readings. Oh, and write a short short. These look fun but hard, and I imagine I'll enjoy the frustration that comes of it.

In my growing list of not-school stuff that's important and needs doing are a letter about the good doctor, a trip to the vet when I have two hours open (after calling for an appointment, of course), and the second half of my difficult business from earlier. I can't quite figure a part of it out, so it's growing more difficult.

The point of all this is that I'm taking the rest of today off to do personal stuff, because it irks me that I haven't been able to do it. So no more blogging. Just wanted to get yesterday's thing out. Now it's there, and I can attend to business. *deep breath*

Talk to you people after yoga, maybe.

End.
