Not Much To Say

Well, I did dishes today, and made rice crispy squares. Of course, *I* got to lick the bowl. That's always my favorite part. Other than that, I have done nearly nothing. I finally found a position for reading where little Drizzt doesn't get his teeth in the book, so now I can start reading the book I borrowed. I've been terrified to read it since it isn't mine, and I can't afford to buy a replacement. So my day has been spent reading "Priestess of Avalon" and playing with Drizzt. Not at the same time. When he naps, I read. He's terrified of the dishwasher, by the way. All those churning noises freak him out.

I'm going to be early tonight, so maybe I can get up for Church. I really want to go, and so far, things haven't been working out so well in that regard.

Baby threw up last night, at about 2 am, and after cleaning that up, I couldn't get back to sleep worrying about him. He's currently fine, I think, or at least he's acting normally today. Every once in a while, he mews at me, and I can't figure out what he wants/needs. But given what he tossed up last night, I'd say it was a matter of munching on the wrong thing. I know I vacuumed, so I'm not sure how the little bit of Walmart bag got into his reach, but I *do* know where he got a hold of that bookmark. I just hadn't realized he'd swallowed it. So far, I think he's all right, but the next time anything, and I mean anything, like that happens, I take it as a pattern and call the vet. I'm not taking chances with his health.

Well, it is getting to about that time when I had planned to sleep. So I'll post this, get back offline, and try to calm Drizzt down. A few minutes of really excited play time, and he'll be ready for a nap.

See you sometime,

End.
