I'm Not Dead!

Sorry guys. Hope I had no one worried there. No, I'm not dead; in fact, I am quite fine. Been busily preparing my apartment for my parents' visit. That and entertaining a kitten. He likes to chew cords. This makes being on the computer a difficult thing, as there are ... well ... cords attached. So there you have it. If you'll believe it, little Drizzt has just woken up for the night. Yikes, his timing sucks. I purchased a scratching post for him, the only one that I could afford (those things are pricey!), and that didn't have fleas. I also got into an automobile argument with an impatient creep in a dingy white truck. That's actually a story.

He got on my ass, and then swerved around me with nary a blinker. Not so bad, in itself. Then he passed the guy in front of me the same way. But then he switched lanes to get behind a really fast guy, and the guy slowed down for a light. We two passed cars got back in front of him, and he swerved behind us, since our lane was shorter. We progressed like this for a few lights, as he tailgated the third vehicle, and then he decided to get back in my lane. And I, bitch that I can be, didn't let him. I kept my speed exactly at his speed, "ignoring" his blinker (first time the bastard used it, too). He finally slowed way down and cut across all three lanes of traffic to try desperately to make his turn in time. Serves him right. I'm glad I made his day. Well, it's now Saturday, and that irks me, so I'll get offline and try to play Drizzt into a nap so I can get some sleep. The goal was to start going to bed and waking up at reasonable times, in preparation for fall classes. Oops.

End.
