Spaghetti on the Airplane

I was not actually on the airplane in the title. I never left the ground, or rather, I never got high enough off the ground to count it as flying.

Today, I took a classmate to the airport. Her apartment is really nice, but the stairs everywhere and the mazes/hallways were a bit difficult to navigate. Everything was just fine until I took a wrong turn. I was simply dropping her off, so I didn't go through the parking lot, like I had the other times. I ended up on the Northeastern outskirts, which is not a good place to be lost. After a while, I found a few cool places, a really nice park, and eventually pulled over a cop to get directions. That was fun. I've never flagged down an officer before. He seemed very nice, and after giving me a funny look, told me to take a left "up ahead" and go until I hit something familiar. Which, as it turned out, was the absolutely best set of directions I have ever been given. I mean really. How much simpler can they get? I wasn't looking for something, I was just driving. I couldn't *not* find whatever it was. It was great.

So I went directly to Walmart, as soon as I knew where I was again, and shopped for desperately needed food. After a lengthy bit of time at Walmart, I headed home to unload before going to the Dollar General across the street. When I returned again, I helped a frantic FedEx guy find apartment 220, and took a short nap.

I also watched Cowboy Bebop, the Movie. It wasn't bad. I really liked one of the things they played, whenever the butterflies starting flittering across the screen. It was spooky and kind of beautiful. The rest was, well ... catchy but a bit irritating. All in all, I'll end up watching it again before I turn it back in to the Hollywood store. Might as well get my money's worth. If I can't quote it, I've wasted money on it.

I upgraded my fishbowls. They are now three times larger than before, and so far, the fish look happy about it. That's about it for tonight. I'm going to bed early tonight so that I have a chance of falling asleep before the drunks come out. You might remember them from a previous post. Chances are, they won't *wake* me up, but they could *keep* me up.

Tomorrow is Sunday, so I will be attending church, unless something goes very wrong. It had better not. I'm looking forward to it. I'll tell you if the pee pee boy has more to say.

Ah well. Goodnight, all. End.
