Rain, Rain, Go Away!

HELLO! This is an arid desert! It should not be raining *again*. We've not had more than two days in a row without rain, and those days have tended to be misty and dark. I swear, I didn't sign up for monsoon season. If I weren't so busy, I'd go sit outside and let the rain wash me clean of stress and inner turmoil. But I can do no more than watch it, sadly. It's taunting me. My lights have been flickering, and this is BAD, considering that I'm grading papers online and can't afford to have my power go out.

Also, I made salmon cookies for lunch/dinner today. They're pretty good, considering I didn't have a recipe. Kind of moist and chewy. Next time, I'll add the lemon pepper seasoning to the crackers before I mix it all together... Slap the puppies in the oven and bake like cookies! Much healthier than frying. And they taste the same, minus the oil. Maybe next time I'll add less egg and a dash of oil... I don't know.

Oh well. That's about it.

End.
