There are Things that Piss Me Off

First off, I've been building up a rant about those “innocuous” little buttons everywhere online that depict ice cream cones, or smiling children and ask "Curious? See your credit for free!" These things really irk me. Who benefits from conning people into viewing their credit? That kind of thing should be saved for when you're trying to get a big loan, or refinance your house. Every time someone views your credit, your rating goes down a little. Unless I've got it wrong, there are sick freaks out there who enjoy telling innocent fools to break their credit. And what I want to know is how they benefit? The freaks, that is. What do they gain, and why are they allowed to do this? Am I wrong? Do these viewings not pose as great a threat to credit ratings as I think? I hope so.

I've got to read for class now, or I'd go on about the arid desert I live in, and how it has rained for all but three hours of the last couple of days. That's a rant in itself.

End.
