Grading with the finest
In the end, they've got a guy in a plant suit sitting on the flowerpot, and another guy standing behind him making the mouth open.
The dentist is wonderful, and the scene in the dentist's office is brilliant. It was almost as if the audience had a dose of that happy gas, the way we were laughing.
On the whole, it was excellent. The ending was different. They had Audrey die from plant bites, and Seymour puts her in the plant when she's dead. Then he attacks the plant with a machete, and the plant wins, spitting out the machete. A botanist comes in and takes cuttings of the plant, and sends them to plant stores all across America. The plants take over the world. There is a finishing song about how you shouldn't feed the plants.
Very nice. Now we're up here grading, since one of our officemates doesn't have internet at her apartment, and needs to get grading done. We'll be here until something like midnight, last time I checked. Oh well. Then I have an early Friday meeting followed by a Friday afternoon meeting, followed by a trip to K-mart with some friends. I'm more moral support than anything else, but since we carpooled over here for the meetings, we'll just head off there together as well. The meetings will provide both breakfast and lunch, and I should be home in time for dinner. But then again, you never know. I've got another hour or so of grading before K-mart, and we might stop here again for grading before going home.
Charlotte loves her new stainless steel dinner dish, and the combo dinner. I've mixed equal portions of Iams and Eukanuba, hoping to use up all the food before buying new food. She likes the Eukanuba better, so I'll buy that next time. It's even a little cheaper.
I've got to actually get to grading now.
End.
