hmm...

i'm confused. if you were going to be working on a word document, you hated all things Mac, and you had a choice between working in a Mac lab full of available computers and two PC labs full of available computers... why would you choose the Mac lab each time? and why would you -- instead of working on your word document -- insist on calling the IT people to complain about the 'worthlessness' of Macs while insisting that they help you sort out the 'problems' with the Mac you are trying to use?

i'll admit that Macs are not my first choice of computer, and that i find some of the things *pple does to be quite irritating. so if i were the person above, i'd choose a PC lab. i'd also keep in mind that *soft does some irritating things, too.

ah well. i suppose i'll never know.
