survival of the sanest

not sure what that title is doing up there. ignore it or something. poke it with a stick if it gets too close.

obviously, since i'm blogging, i survived my week. let me tell you, that was no mean feat. that crisis is still being brought up in accusatory ways by people not myself. me? i'd rather just forget about it until next time. next time i'm counting it as triple-time, and just smiling my way through it.

this is midterms weekend around here. my students are not going to be happy. we're really laid back and discussion-based in the class, but there's a deceptive amount of work involved. many of them have been deceived. and so next week will not be fun in that arena.

and i'll be doing lots of work in my own classes, again/still, so while part of this weekend (i'm thinking sunday afternoon) will be relax and be me time, i've been working steadily to try to prevent another week like this last one.

ah well. i'm off to walk.
