So what are you taking to school?

1 backpack crammed full of books and a bag or two of candy for students (every compartment is full, except a hollow where the purse fits)
1 messenger bag crammed full of books and a notebook (there's still space for tiny odds and ends)
1 purse
1 cell phone
1 grocery bag filled with sugar cookies and Oreos
1 pair of walking shoes (in case I end up hoofing it to the Satellite lot)
1 umbrella (it looks like rain)
1 lunch/dinner combo (since I'll be there from 8am to 9:20pm)
1 body (on which to pile everything else)

In short, I'll look like a camel and a half, and have a hell of a time loading and unloading my encumbered self on/off the bus. But what the hell. The alternative is driving up there now to deliver it all, and while I'd have done this (indeed, have done this) in semesters past, I just am not feeling that tonight.

Besides, it'll be an adventure. I plan to come up to school on Friday to work on this paper, so I'll get to leave a lot of this stuff there. If all goes well, I'll have all the quotes etc logged and the books can stay put regardless. This spares room for the ext DVDs, which I currently don't have room for.
