Lady Lazarus Returns

Some of you who have lived with me are aware of the Lady Lazarus thing I do on occasion. I'm doing it again real soon.

I am going "out of town" this weekend. My phones will be off, my email unchecked, my door unopened, my blog un-updated, etc. In short, picture me ... not there. At all. For any reason.

Because of the difficulty I've been having getting the right amount of time, in the right atmosphere, during the right hours of the day to write on my thesis, I'm shutting down communications. This sort of thing will be happening more frequently--though not as lengthily--as the semester draws to a close.

My plane to thesis-land leaves tonight, and doesn't get back until Monday morning. If you see me Friday, I've popped into the real world briefly to observe a fellow writer's thesis defense, but am swiftly on my way back out again.

Sorry for any inconveniences caused. I just don't want you guys to feel cold-shouldered if you call and get no answer, etc.

Since this is the last entry for I'm not sure how long (I'll blog at school, but probably not otherwise), I figure I'll let you all know about the snow we've had. Winter and Spring had a disagreement about who got to go first, and for once, Spring won out. Now it's Winter's turn. Boy are the trees confused. And the heating system. It's been 65 degrees in this building all day. Glove-time.

And that's about it for now.

Love and Peace.
