Saga Continues...

Day 1: Wednesday.
Yoga soothing. Borrow huge flashlight from E. Gather computer, phone charger, read at E's place until 3AM.
Call Demonspawn every two hours, computers down indefinitely.
Ask if it would be too much for them to call me back when computers are removed from their asses. Apparently so.
Finish book, crash on E's floor. Much too cold to sleep in dark, heatless apartment, and v. late at night.

Day 2: Thursday.
Wake at 5AM, call Demonspawn. Computers down. Return to sleep.
Wake at 8AM, call Demonspawn. Computers down. Begin writing paper. Zombie.
Receive call from mother, piss her off. Hang up and continue writing.
Noon, have called Demonspawn twice, no computers.
Eat lunch, pack up for school.
Go to class, haven't read for the day (too busy with novel and paper). Doesn't matter. Disease class stupid anyway.
Eat ramen (English building has microwaves *and power!*), finish paper.
Call Demonspawn, computers down. Explode. Tell poor fool on other end exactly what they have done to me, and that I want it fixed whether or not their computers are down.
Am transferred to Person with Power. Calmly state problem at hand, am told to have lease faxed over.
Go to class (apartment office closed, but Friday still available), turn in paper (on white sheets, no less).
Am dropped off at E's apartment, explain my baby steps toward success with the belligerent stupidity of Demonspawn. Watch movie for stress relief.
Sleep in cold, dark apartment.

Day 3: Friday.
Yes, we are still trying to get power restored. Yes, we are still angry. Yes, we are having a bad week. Lease is faxed, the rest of the day is spent calling to complete the process. Computers are still down, power is still out, car is still dead. Finally (after continuing to call every two hours, religiously) manage to get them to agree to turn my power back on. Sleep in cold, dark apartment.

Day 4: Saturday.
Power comes on at 2:30-something PM. Remain under sheet, flannel, fleece, throws, and two quilts until temperature is tolerable. Was 63 degrees when I got out of bed. No telling what it was that night. Car jumped, taken to Wmart, several hours later, I get car back. Wmart 1 didn't have battery, drove to Wmart 2, bought battery, 2 hour wait, got car jumped, drove to Wmart 1, 1&1/2 hour wait, leave car and take E's car to office, Rosa's. Return to Wmart 1, no car, lost my battery, much voice-raising, found my battery, much waiting, call E for ride home, determined to leave it overnight (getting dark), E comes, we wait some more, lots of impatience, car whole at 8PM. Drive home, begin maddened grading.

Day 5: Sunday.
Church in AM, E's choice, grading in the PM, no choice at all. Still making plans for imminant road trip. Have atlas. It's been a miserable week, and I'm just now feeling like a normal human being.

ARGH.
