Ah, the Reintroduction of the Cadbury Creme Egg...

I love this time of year. Right after that stupid February holiday, all the good candy comes out. Namely, my beloved Cadbury Creme Eggs. I stockpile them, you know. Last year's supply ran out in October. I hope to plan better this year. They really should make the silly things year round, to be kind to those of us who are passionately drawn to them.

Well, it isn't likely to happen, so I might as well not waste any more time mooning over them. Does anyone out there have anything good to say about George Eliot's Silas Marner? Other than the length? If so, fill me in, because not only have I not heard these good things, but no one I've asked has ever heard them either. I'm curious to know if there is anything good about it. I certainly haven't encountered anything that qualifies as "good" (or even as "quality," for that matter).

Beginning on Lady Audley's Secret this evening. Paper due R. More on that. Have graded all but 40 drafts. This is a good thing. Have reread all poetry for M, and am contemplating paper due W. Not happy contemplations. Am nearly 1/5th into The Moonstone. V interesting. Gathered 26 articles on OMF. Have presentation coming up. Dreadful.

And that's about all that is new over here. On to my reading.

End.
