Quick Update
My little red car is back where she belongs, though I had to ransom her for more than I had expected.
Got a nasty email about my lack of logging into Topic. Sent back a polite email telling Pizzaman that I had intended from the get go to start grading Wednesday, as all assignments are due tonight at midnight. Just sent that one. Don't know if he'll respond.
Finished my readings about fifteen minutes ago, and have only to do the Victorian readings and the Globalizing AIDS for Thursday.
Made more soup. This time about three times as much. It's a sort of anything goes kind of soup. Chicken, some broth, some cream of, tons of carrots, tons of celery, four large potatoes, a large onion, a bunch or two or broccoli, some frozen green beans, two packages of sea shell pasta... Lots of soup. But good for me. The stuff was practically green for all the veggies I threw in there.
Signed up for three papers/presentations that I have no idea how to write/give. The sign up sheet went around such that it hit me last, and so I had to make do with everyone else's leavings. Most of which occurred when I had major papers in other classes. In fact, this happened in the Victorian class as well, and I was left with a 20-page paper and 30 minute presentation on Dickens (whose writing is, shall we say, anathema to my pleasure). I'm not bitter.
In any case, it's about time for me to go to bed, if I plan to keep this bizarre waking-up-when-normal-people-do schedule. After all, I promised Pizzaman that I'd be grading. More importantly, that's on my scheduled list of stuff to do.
