Charlotte and the Seven Years of Bad Luck

Tonight, Charlotte knocked over the full-length mirror, and the thing all but shattered. It fell mirror side up, so most of the little glass shards were in the mirror frame, so all I had to do was chase Charlotte away from the glass while I taped it up with packing tape. There's about a foot of it that plainly hit the ground first and is now composed of tiny beads of glass, while the rest of the mirror is merely threaded through with break lines. The culprit is curled on the futon beside me as though nothing happened.

I was told a possible reason for the midday grogginess, and have corrected that possible reason. I only started feeling sleepy tonight about an hour ago. Thanks SR. No more pasta for lunch.

I finished my two papers for today and turned them in in good order. All is well with my classes, and I have tons of reading to get done for next week. For the diseases class, four of us have teamed up. We'll be splitting the work four ways and meeting before class each week to teach the readings to one another. This enables us to do some very close reading, and still get all the reading done. Technically. This should help me not go insane with all the reading material for the class.

Well, it's late, and I have some grading to do.

End.

You can vacuum your carpet for years and still not get all the glass. Wear shoes in that area. Charlotte certainly is a busy little cat.sr

Seven years bad luck? Big deal to her --- she has nine lives so what. If she lived in Cottonwood where life is short, especially for a cat, she might have reason to worry!
