impressed
at this point, however, i'm going home. i still have to finish the annotative bib, and many of my sources are at the library. but i've a plan. see, i have a G sticker that lets me park close at 430. so i'm coming back up around 430 with a stomach full of good food (not much cooking is possible at the moment, short of the spaghetti squash, so i'm buying a chicken at united on the way home, and some canned soup). i'll check out the journals i need at around 530 or 6, and will go home to work. i'll finish the assignment. then i can come back to campus at 430 again on friday to return them.
the assignment is due friday at noon now, and i'm confident i can do this thing by friday early morning. the journals are 24 hour only or this wouldn't be a problem. there are still journal articles i possess that need annotating, and a few book chapters. then there's the rest of the reflection. i can do those while i wait to come back to campus.
i'd just go get them now, really, but i can't guarantee i'll be feeling well enough to come to campus in 24 hours, park far, walk far, carry heavy books (there are about 7 of them, and really thick) i don't feel quite up to carrying them to my car where i'm parked now in fact, so i might not even get home with them if i got them now.
[side note: i've always hated people who can't take a hint and get out of your office. i mean, you tell a joke, and i reply stone-faced with an overt rejection of the joking premise. hint? yeah, for most folks. i've also always hated people who jokingly ask you to speak up when you've no voice. hate hate these people. and the people who insist that everyone call them by some ridiculous stage name? yeah. thankfully, this dude only comes by once in a while.]
but that's how things stand at the moment. feels like the fever is down a bit finally, and i'm going home to do the work i can do before coming back up here. yea.
love and peace
