Save the cows!
Come to think on it, there's a good chance I will someday soon read a draft that argues the following: Doctors are obsolete, since we can get all the antibiotics we need from our meat, and any veggie-tarians out there can just get sick and die; we don't need them ruining the economy by refusing to eat meat and buy leather. [Which concept (the leather) is intriguing, because if the cows are processed live, then how's the skin come out so neat and supple?]
Today I wrote another Smurf Story for my students. It's godawful, and their job is to fix it. Aside: you know, it took me three times to get "their" right. I've been destroying good sentences for so long today in the making of this grammar exercise that my fingers are no longer sure what they are supposed to type. It goes away by the next morning, but it is disconcerting until then.
Today the water was out in the English building. Nasty sludgy stuff came out the sinks when the water was back on, so I've been very thirsty all day. Made up for it when I got home (nearly 1/2 a gallon), and will be up all night migrating to the toilet and back.
And now I'm off. I may try Hellsing next for the Film Class o' Doom. I have all the manga and the anime is more graphically expressive than Trigun's more traditional filming. <-- what is wrong with me?
Love and Peace.
