It's been bugging me...

Okay folks. Here's your chance. There's something that has been bugging me for the last hour and half, since I put it on the stereo for a little continuous loop action. I have been listening to Saint Saens. Specifically, I have been listening to the "allegro moderato" section of his Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Op. 78, "Organ." This isn't a problem, the thing is beautiful.

The problem is that I swear I have heard it before, used as the theme song or sound track to something. And I can't figure out what. I got it into my head a little while back that I might have heard it on the latest few episodes of Rurouni Kenshin I watched.

Spoiler warning!

That would be the set that takes place right after Kenshin gets blinded, and where Magdalia dies. Can anyone out there tell me if I'm right and can lay this thing to rest, or if I'm wrong and have to continue to wrack my brain for the place I've heard this before that was not on this CD? I know for a fact that there's one person out there at least who can tell me... Maybe there are more of you, floating in the eaves trying to escape my notice. Oh well. Let me know.

By the way, you can calm down. I had Swedish meatballs for dinner, along with buttered toast. No people. Really, as if I would go to such lengths... Enjoy your evening. End.

Well, I would have to check, but it is possible it is the same piece of music. I have not heard Saint Saens in a while, nor have I heard that part in a few weeks. Although I could do a little digging. I'll let you know in a couple of days. It is entirely possible as the series borrowed some music from Beethoven at one point. Oh well. I'll see what I can find.
And meatballs sound good about now too...

Thanks. It isn't bugging me right now, but when I turn it on again to read tonight, there it will be, hovering over me and not letting me work. Maybe I should listen to a different track. By the way, you will receive a code name for the purposes of this blog. Most everyone will, because I am tired of dancing around the anonimity thing. I'll email you your choices. Love you, hon,
