An Experiment in Blue
I have finished my paper, and now my Muse must sleep. She will digest what
she has written, and probably rewrite it tomorrow morning. In any case, I
can't work on it more tonight. I had to coax it into its minimum length,
and then after it reached that limit, it exploded beyond the maximum. This
paper has been a difficult child for me. I'm not happy with it, but it will
have to suffice.
I call this entry experiment in blue, because I am seeing if this "email
your post to the blog" thing works. And I needed something at least a
little snappy for the title, and my creative juices have been splashed all
over the place this evening, leaving the cup empty and the carpet stained in
risky lime. Oh, and my hotmail page is all blue. That might be a reason
too, now that I think of it.
Well, if this doesn't pop up in my blog the way I want it to, I'll just try
again the original way. But if you're reading it, I got it there somehow.
Maybe if you're curious you can ask me. Or wait until I break down and tell
you. I'll either brag about acquiring a new trick, or moan about the rising
rate of personal illiteracy when it comes to computers.
Huh. Well I ought to be asleep now, oughtn't I? I think I'll attempt this
and go do that. There will be another early morning post if my water isn't
hot when I shower tomorrow. After that, there will be a trip to the
management of this apartment demanding my utility check be returned until
such a time as they can provide me with quality. I'll settle for lukewarm,
actually. Or a little chill. But not what it was this morning. That is
unacceptable. I got an offer to go to a friend's apartment and shower there
if my water was too cold. I might take her up on that offer. You'll
probably hear about it whatever happens, unless I forget.
I'm really going to bed now. Night, people. End.
