mad grad three

first, a note. the burning of eyes is a tired thing. no tears yet of sorrow, pain, joy, exhaustion, or other. yeah.

3:13 - page count now at a solid 3 single-spaced, with a little on page 4. i have exhausted sarah and abraham. i have spent all there is on rebekah. there is no more baby race bc left in me. i hope i'm finished with the patriarchs. have now judges borne of barren women, and perhaps a tie in to johnny b from nt. all kind of judgey/prophetic, and all angel-announced. slim chance of tying in mary as sort-of-barren [she hadn't given birth yet, obviously, and that seems to be the prerequisite for barren...] have decided to screw 20 pages. am now shooting for 15, and am okay with the idea that i may fall short of that. to 14, say. or 13 and a bit on the next page.

4:33 - back from a 40 minute nap in the lounge. nice couch. v good sleeping to be had there. wish it were longer than 40. but am back-back, meaning i could probably go again for a while.

5:29 - KM needs to catch some zzz while she can, since she'll be here again for most of tomorrow. so i'll be taking her home withint the hour. i'll be going home myself then, not because i'm done, but because i'm done in. i have added very little, and a change of location and nap will do me good.

so ends the office all-nighter. i am not as young as i was only two years ago. it's amazing what a few years will do to one's stamina. next thing you know, i'll be getting arthritis. wait... [i know, cheesy ass attempt at humor. sue me. it's late in my yesterday.]

love and peace
