Heat Wave Central
Yeah. I finally caved in yesterday, and turned my A/C on for the first time this summer. Most days, I'm out of the apartment and don't have to deal with whatever heat accumulates in here. I leave a ceiling fan on for the cat, and trust my belongings not to melt.
But packing is hot, heavy work. And there's only so much ice water one can drink. Alas, my resolve disolved, and for one day, the temperature got no hotter than 85 inside. Today it's only supposed to be in the low 90s, so the A/C is back to off.
Ah well. More to come, I'm sure.
