Grading
Should one dine on meat, cheese, crackers, and wine while grading freshman papers? Why not? Eventually, they'll all start sounding like the "great and mighty" Toulmin himself. And every student secretly desires an A. If I could grade in the bath the whole world would pass, even when writing about abortion or parking.
Oh, and SR/JR? I've now tried 4 times to send you email, and it's fired back a "failure" message each time. I'm talking over a period of days. Seriously want to start thinking of a new account.

i have been guilty of grading assignments while under the influence.. quite heavily too! ;-) but that was just for weekly assignments.. hehe!
i do remember reading some of the answers out loud to the rest of the gang and have a good old guffaw about it!
