It's more than crunch time. I remember waking up not 20 hours ago, thinking I'd be done with the paper by now. Alas, I've been at school in my office for 19 hours solid, with a walk out to the car lot to move my car closer for the night. I'm about to take another extended break to drive it back out to the commuter lot, since I'll get a ticket if I stay past 7:30. Who would have thought I'd ever manage to be here this early/late? Oh well. I'm still quite perky, and while I have large brown grocery sacks (paper) under each eye (yeah, plural for each eye, I checked), I'm still very wide-eyed. At about nine am I plan to go home, change Charlotte's litter, add food/water as needed, eat something, shower, change clothes, and print this nasty behemoth of a paper. I have yet to finish, of course, but all that's left are these four pages in the middle. And the bib. Need to do the bib. But I have two hours to do this, and the paper isn't actually due until 2 pm today. So I really have so much more time than that, even. If it comes down to it, I'll stay put until about 11 am, and then go do all the homey stuff. I won't, however, take a nap until the paper is out of my hands. I'm afraid I wouldn't wake up for class, and then the paper I worked so hard on for however many straight hours would be late anyway. Not good. So, I'm off to move my car. Maybe AM will walk with me, although it's light out now, and probably beginning to warm up a bit. We've had a cold front here. Alas, I say to you good day!
(If you asked me how I am so cheerful at this hour after no sleep, I should only point you toward the many empty cans of soda and the candy wrappers, the carrot bag, etc. And oatmeal, my friend.)
End.
